Hotel de la Herse d'Or

Another great little 2 star hotel on the cheap side. They were completely renovating the 1st floor when I went there, so expect it to be better. To be honest, my room needed some redoing, but the reasonable price, the location and the friendliness of the multilingual staff did the trick. The room was quite spacious according to Parisian standards. You also have free wifi access, and you are right in the middle of Le Marais area, at walking distance of the Place des Vosges and Place de la Bastille. The metro station (Saint Paul) is at walking distance too, and it will take you to the main touristy areas of Paris. Definitely a good bargain, I recommend it for students, or people that don't want to spend too much money and time in their hotel room. Stan
