Hotel des 3 Nations

The more I sleep in low-budget hotels, the more I appreciate them... Frankly, there are no decorations; it's basic, but hey! Sometimes you are going to pay double for the same standards. Rooms are clean, a bit small, but ok. Hotel des 3 Nations is in a great location, near Place de la Republique, and not far from the rue Oberkampf and its lively nightlife, full of little restaurants and late bars (try the Cafe Charbon and its nightclub le Nouveau Casino, very beautiful). You also are near Le Marais area.
